What do you tiny tots do with their ponies?

My niece has just turned 3. She is pony mad and quite advanced for her age, although very small. A lady on my yard has a Shetland and has kindly offered me a part loan for my niece.

What do your little un's do?

I will obviously firstly teach her how to sit correctly, stop, start and steer, but what else do people suggest, or any top tips for teaching a small child with short attention span!?

My little girl (eho is 2 and half) helps muck out and poo pick fields, she will spend ages brushing her pony and we go out for lead rein rides, where she is learning the basics
