hey,

im going to clip amey tomorrow but i dont fancy getting covered in hair! iv already had to throw some jumpers away after previous clips..

what do you wear when clipping?
 
I wear waterproof trousers, a non fleecy jacket and a baseball cap!!

I also take my bra off as i cant stand having hair in it when i have finished :D

Overalls are a good option
 
Boiler suit you can get one from Country Wide or a DIY store, I hate clipping and I to have thrown away clothes that are totally ruined as you just can't get the hair out of them.
 
I had a nightmare with an emergency clipping sesh on a white grey wool monster - I was wearing a dark blue hoody and emerged from the stable like the abominable snow man!! I shook the jumper, then hung it on the line and beat it, then hoovered it, and finally put it in the drier (which I then hoovered out after!!! :D )and it sorted the jumper out!
I generally wear shiny tracksuit bottoms or waterproof leggings and a blouson jacket or other high zip necked waterproof jacket...you still find hair in un-imaginable places though!! xx
 
A riding hat!!

One nightmare clipper and a fractured skull later I learned my lesson. Oh, and body protector, overalls and steel toe cap boots too.
 
My friend is vet had she uses a piggery suit (like an all in one thing with a hood which the hair doesn't stick to.

Only thing is, the top of the hood "peaks" a bit...so we call it her condom suit :D I've never been allowed yet to get a picture of her in it.

But anyway, something like that would be good - guess you have to be careful that the material isn't too static as the hairs will just stick to you :)
 
Jeans, boots and a waterproof jacket that zips up the the neck. Wear a sport bra, not a lacy one as if hair does get in the lace you will never get it out ;) I have an old ripped Musto blouson that I keep for clipping and with that zipped right up I find not much hair gets through to my under clothes. Whatever you wear make sure it can be tumble dried as that is the best way to get stubbon hairs out of clothing.
 
Waterproof trousers, and an old coat kept especially for clipping as I clip legs all year. Nothing fleece underneath and nothing I really like as the hair always finds its way into something! I usually tuck my trousers into my wellies as my boy is so good to clip I find this is the best combination!
Battery pack clippers make it so easy.
Hair tied back, old hat on!
 
Disposable boiler suits - about £1 each

Elasticated hood, cuffs, ankles, and waistband with front zip to try and stop hairs getting in!

I usually wear the waterproof trousers you get along with a lightweight waterproof coat as it repels the hair quite well, I really need to clip Seren, will do it on friday as I have the day off :D woop woop, roll on a 4day week, wish they were all 4 days! Sorry, slight tangent :D
 
Baseball cap makes a big difference to the amount of hair I inhale and which gets stuck to my face!
The minute I'm finished I have to go home and jump in the shower and stop the abominable itching, shall be getting one of those nice hazmat type suits this winter though ;)
 
cheap plasticy waterproof trousers and jacket, vinyl gloves (as I'm allergic to clipper oil), and an old baseball cap - I always end up far too hot, but that's so much better than being covered in itchy scratchy bits of hair!
