Horse is trotted up & then has flexion tests. Horse is ridden strenuously (at canter) for vet to watch & to raise its heart beat. Heart beat is checked again. Horse is again trotted up in hand & more flexions are done. Horse is backed up & spun on a sixpence again to check soundness etc. Then hopefully, vet will say your horse has passed and fill in a full report on everything he found that was wrong with said horsey.

ALthough I'm not sure if I approve of flexion tests plus it will take a LOT of canter work to raise my horse's heartbeat he's so fit at the mo.
