What does a sarcoid look like early on?

As above. . .what do they look like early on. . .

Only as i have noticed two small black spot like things on him in two dif places. . .not near any tack areas. . .

small black lumps with no hair on them.
Ours has them around his sheath area

as above, the skin in the effected area is usually noticebly thicker to feel and touch and can have a kind of leathery feel x

My mares started off looking like a raised rug rub, no black lumps, just rough skin in a circle shape.

Well i reckon then he has two very small ones. . .one on his shoulder. . .the other above his hock on the inside. .

What can i do about them?. . . i have only ever seen them when laserated (sp) etc. . . .and im guessing he would fail a vetting with them possibly?

I would leave them well alone unless they are growing rapidly, then I'd call the vet

So best just to keep an eye on them. . . i have noticed them for a while. . . but since i have noticed them they havnt increased hugely in size.

If your worried about them call the vet and if he confirms them as sarcoids ask about liverpool cream.

he's had them for at least 2 years ( thats when we got him) and one only decided to burst a while back.
Got vet out and said to blue spray it to keep flies away and if it enlargens to call him and he'll then send pics off to liverpool.

Hasn't got any worse and has dried up for now
