hi hes 15'3 bum high 9yr old exracer. we have done loads but last 6 months working on building the correct muscles so lots of trotting and working on outline and working from behind... og and of course jumping...

here he is.. what do you think x










:) hes my pride and joy, have a lot of shows comming up mainly showjumping but a few bigger shows for the exracer classes :) like AINTREE!! :)
 
The jumping picture is ace! He's a handsome boy, needs to muscle up but that will come in time with correct work. His neck looks a little upside down at the moment and he looks like he could do with more muscle on his back (especially just behind his shoulders, either side of the slope of his withers) But again work should put that right. Good luck with him, the schooling pics look nice as well, having looked at those again maybe the confo shot isn't the most flattering! Keep us updated on his progress!

yes confo shot not the best but best i could do he doesnt stand still!! hes got alot more muscle than he did 8 months ago and hes working much much better now :) hopfully in another 6 months he will look even better!

his necks still a little upside down yes but hes also got some muscle along the top now about 1 1/2 inches worth so im really happy!! he becomming much softer and constant in the contact!

i have enter aintree workers festival next week i will be competiting him in the snaffle as its a novice class very nervous x

Good luck! Hope it all goes well for you. He looks like a lovely boy! I know the difficulties of trying to take pictures of fidgety horses, as soon as my fella sees a camera he turns round and refuses to look at me.. sigh! Anyway it sounds like you are working hard to get him into shape which is the main thing. I hope you'll have someone with you at your upcoming comp so you can show us plenty of pictures! I am sure he will be positively blooming come summer :)
 
Silly fidgets lol. Ill try get a nice confo shot while im onboard. Hopfully a friends comming to watch the class so should have pics n videos. Very excited but nervouse havnt competed inna snaffle in about year... but instrutor knows best and has said he needs to take me to the fences nt me taking him HHaha so byw bye gag. X

Ooh it'll be a new experience for you then, well, if your instructor thinks it is a good idea then trust their judgement, take a deep breath and most of all be confident in your own ability. Looking forward to seeing the pictures!
 
I've spend ages flicking though your photos :D he's lovely, you're going a nice job with him. I love the bucking photo and free jumping the cow jump!
 
ohh didnt see these replies!! thanks everyone! oh yes hes got a hell of a buck in him when he doesnt want to do somthing....... he very rarley does this anymore starting to really love his work! heres a video of us at the weekend practicing for aintree this week... let me know what you think... think these jumps were about 70cm but we are doing 80cm we ussualy do courses much bigger but im concentrating on our approaches! :)
