what does it mean when a thread is 'closed' ?

Or locked because it cut up a bit rough - these are usually just pulled though.

The Admin team have locked it to prevent any further comment, usually as a result of a report of fighting or other unpleasant conduct. In the case of the thread a bit lower down the page the OP of that has history of having threads closed when they are not going her way.

Ahh I see. If it were me, I would want to prove my innocence! Thankyou for clearing it up though and yes the thread I was questioning is the one on this page.
