What does scopey mean?

I hear it all the time in ads and stuff, but have never actually known what it means! i know its to do with a horse's jump, but what is it?

Just means ability really, looks like he will have it or has it.

or how well he can clear fences/how much air he gives them when he jumps. To show how high he might be able to jump when he's older.

It's over-used IMO. People say their horse is scopey because it jumps 3ft... Any horse will jump that height so it irritates me!
