just wondered what SRT stands for as I saw a advert for large hoys SRT
what does SRT stand for?

Show Riding Type
usually referred to as Intermediate Show Riding Type (a cross between a hack and a riding horse pretty much, ridden by someone who is under 25 years old). There are large and small types.

Show Riding Type - a type of Intermediate (not exc 158cm and iirc rider under 25) showing class, with horses being of riding horse or hack type - as opposed to show hunter type. A large SRT would be exc 153cm but not exc 158. Hope that helps!

thanks what exactly is a intermediate? I know roughly but not 100%

Intermediates are horses that are ridden by people under 25 years old. They were started to help the transition of young riders from junior to senior ranks.
