what does 'stable fit' mean???

Just browsing the for sale ads and noticed that one horse that was for sale was described as 'stable fit' as lives in. What does that mean? surely a stable fit horse would be less fit that a 'field fit' horse?! :p
 
Never heard that. Two ends of the spectrum? Either 'kept in all the time, corned-up, fighting fit, could do the National'; or 'can just manage to walk round its stable with someone pushing behind!'

Please let us know the answer, someone....
