...some may have seen some previous posts regarding hoof problems!!
Use to have front shoes on, hind barefoot as TB was very foot sore on hard ground, ie, limping. Heels were collapsed, shoes kept coming off, horse didnt want to go forwards (whether this was related or not i dont know).
Anyway, shoes came off and changed diet. TB can now walk up and down the hard standing without limping - i am so pleased. Still little stumbly turning in stable but there are uneven cobbles under her matting.
Does the fact that she can walk up/down the hard standing without hobbling mean her feet are changing shape for the better or just that she is getting use to the surface/feet toughening up?
