To update any of you who haven't been reading my posts
I have been searching for a horse for 6 months. Last Saturday I tried a horse I totally fell in love with. Owner told me "Take as long as you want to decide, I am not in a rush to sell, I want her to go to the perfect home, She isn't going anywhere." But I had decided by Saturday evening that she was the horse for me, and I arranged to go back and see her Sunday, with a deposit. I was informed Sunday that the mare was lame, but I had first refusal on her and I would be kept updated.

Well, I just text the owners friend (I dont have the owners number) to see if the mare was any better and was told the horse was sold on Tuesday because the owner just wanted to "get rid"

1) At what point did the owners attitude change so drastically?
2) What happened to me having first refusal?
3) Thanks for letting me know, she was sold 2 days ago, and you only bothered telling me this because I text you. When exactly were you planning on telling me?

And then she has the cheek to text back "Oh don't worry though because I know another horse who you might like who is for sale". Oh yes, because I really want to deal with you again, given this time has been a blast.

I don't know whether to be angry or upset.

I am heartbroken.

Don't be heartbroken, things happen for a reason

. You will find the right horse in the end, this one wasn't.

Oh no!!! That really is unbelievable, what a total b*tch! So sorry for you. I had wondered how you had been getting on.

I really hope you can find another one soon that you like just as much (or perhaps one that you like even more!). Dont give up!

If you dont have the owners no could it be fair to assume they didn't have yours?

Try not to worry as everyone has said, things happen for a reason!
