I'm looking to feed a balancer to both my 18 year old very fizzy laminits prone mare and also my HW gelding who is prone to weight gain during the summer months, neither will be fed any hard feed (just a handful of Happy Hoof and some salt when they come in).
The gelding wont eat a vitamin and mineral supplement or use a lick so I need a pelletted balancer.

What would you recommend?????

Baileys Lo-Cal - Great coat and top line, fed it to a my connemara who although has never had laminitis ia a good dooer and he has all the energy required without the fizziness he had on fibre cubes

i haven't used it personally but i know a few people who use bailey's lo-cal balancer

my 4 (including 2 lami prone) have been on baileys lo-cal for almost 2 years. They have all come out of winter with a good shine on their coat and their feet dramatically improved after putting them on it originally.

i use topspec antilam for my little welshy and the comprehensive for my poor doer idxtb, was told i could give little one half rations of the comprehensive though
