what feed ?????

as the summer is coming my boy has upped his work and is lacking energy so was thinking about giving him a mix but not sure which one hear is his feed at the moment

bailys lo-cal

keeps his weight on well so have to be carful at the moment he is a very good weight and fairly fit get a good 40 min to 1 hr work a day jumped 1 a week and compertition or fun ride on weekend
so a busy ish boy

what do people think?

I think a lot of people over estimate how much work their horses are in; I would say yours is in light work? ( some people might not agree, mine is in light work, he is hacked for about 2-3 hours 4 times a week); so feed accordingly.

I would cut out the Good Doer and either just give the balancer or swap for something like Fast Fibre;

The fitter he gets the more energy he should have, unless you want to feed a mix like Instant Response, but he may put weight on if he's not burning off the extra calories
