I was wondering if anyone can help me solve this.
When I was little I used to help my mums friend look after her shetland pony. One morning when i went to get her from her field, she was laying down, she did get up but didnt seem right so i went to get her owner and she came and lead shettie from the field. Shettie was quite unsteady on her feet and seemed quite slow in responding to anything. Little shettie was pts by the vet that day.
Shetty was 25yo but the day before she was pts she was in good health and could have been half her age.
Appologies if this is a bit random but noone really said at the time what was wrong with her. It is something i have never forgotten and i often think about what happened when looking through old photos of her.
(my mums friend died a few years ago so cant ask her)
