What happened to the 'Something not quite right with new horse' thread?

Last thing I read were some rather derogatory (and uncalled for) comments about the instructor's riding abilities. Maybe that was why it was pulled?

It must have been pulled this morning, because I'm sure it was there last night.

Hey ho.

I'm sure we'll get an update in a separate thread.

I posted quite early on the thread (probably only about page 45), about the range in comments and how the horse had been identified as being lame in both front and both back legs. Also that the instructor was a good rider in my humble opinion and that the OP was asking for advice about the horses movement and not the riding abilities of anyone. That's the problem though, people just give their opinion and don't really think about how it comes across or how it will be taken.

I also posted several times on the thread, it did develop into a bit of a muddle with everything being diagnosed from KS to suspensory problems.
The videos showed the horse looking completely sound and happy in some and a bit less so in others at which point there were a few comments about the instructor that may not have been too polite.
Its a shame its gone as some parts were really interesting and showed how people can have such opposing views while watching the same thing, I feel these often more relate to their own experiences than from what is actually in front of them.

Don't we all draw from our own experiences when offering advice or ideas? We have to learn from somewhere, usually from direct experience, an aquaintences experience or from studying? Ye?
I hope we do hear the outcome, the poor OP's head must have been spinning by the end of the thread:eek:
