Thought it might be interesting to hear what everyone .
I'll start
laugh.gif

Sat: long lunging session (to tire him out, and let him get all his bucks and hops out before I got on
wink.gif
) and then hopped on for a few minutes at the end to have a basic walk/trot/canter
Sun: went showjumping, very succesfully
laugh.gif
championships here we come!
Mon: day off
Tues: went hunting
Wed: lesson with instructor, pouring rain, cold backed pone, lots of bucking
blush.gif
tongue.gif

Thurs: little hack
Fri: Lunged, as not *ahem* feeling my best (had too much of a good time on NYE!) cue lots more bucking ....he likes being lunged
grin.gif

Today, found he has a little scrape/sore just where his girth goes
frown.gif
so lunged to warm him up and then loose schooled, IE i let him loose, he bucks in my face and then gallops round the school for a good 8 minutes (nice to know he's fit
grin.gif
) and slides to a halt by the gate to let me know he's finished and would like to go back inside as it is raining.
tongue.gif

Then the plan for tomorrow is to school *sigh*

Ok here goes for Bodey:
Saturday- A play in the school over a few jumps.

Sunday- Show Jumping, did the 2ft3 class, 2ft6 and the speed class.

Monday- Had the day off.

Tuesday- Play in the school again.

Wednesday- Went Show Jumping again (at a different venue) but not enough people turned up for the classes, so just did a few clear rounds.

Thursday- Went for a hack on my own.

Friday- Day off.

Today- Another day off, was meant to be hunting but it was cancelled because of the weather.

Tomorrow- Really hoping to get in the school but all depends on the weather.

Nothing apart from a short hack round the lanes yesterday. Arena is frozen solid (sand with rubber top) and tracks like concrete. I chanced the lanes but found several patches that were quite icy even though I'd left it until 3pm to go out, so crept back home trying to avoid slipping. It's been like this for over 2 weeks now and I'm getting very frustrated, but not worth taking risks.

we hired the arena at where i work last sunday and schooled. and we went for a hack today. hes had all week off as iv had a bad back and been backwards and forwards to hospital being prodded and haveing x-rays. not exactly been in the riding mood. lol. but my new years resolution is to make more of an effort to ride him if we are going to become dressage divas!

He's spent everyday up to his knees in snow looking miserable, and every night in his stable looking bored! Innterspersed with a scary slither up and down to field from stable. That has been the pattern for last fortnight, not likely to change anytime soon
frown.gif
. Not a particularly exciting time of year

Very little.
tongue.gif
Nothing but fussing and the odd groom so he didn't think I'd forgotten about him for the last two weeks, until on Thursday the school was FINALLY thawed enough to ride so I did some schooling with him, then his owner's son had a blast round because both of them like going fast.
tongue.gif
Going up tomorrow to have another ride and do some jumpies!

Oh sorry everyone didn't mean to remind everyone of all their rubbish weather- bit of an ill-timed post i think
frown.gif

The TB was completely stuck in his box until this week, hence being very active this week.
Sorry, hope everyone's snow/ice goes away soon

ate grass, carrots and hay! Its a hard life being my horse!
In my defence... i had planned to ride lots over the xmas period, but the weather conditions have put a stop to that, however, I did manage a short hack on new years eve.

Monday-Flatwork schooling (in the loosest term, did 20min of cr@p work where she pretended she had forgotten everything, then took her round the track before I smashed my head against a brick wall, then back in the school for another 30min to change the exercise and do some trotting poles)
Tuesday-Short hack and a gallop to let her blow off some steam
Wednesday-short lunge session-not 100% happy with how she was going so cut it short and just went easy on her the rest of the week
Thursday-back in the school just doing stretching and bending in walk
Friday-Longer hack, but just a walk with a little trot
Saturday-Day off
Tomorrow-Lesson

out in the am - in pm - lucky we have this really. Then a muck out, haynet whilst i'm shovelling poo and wee, big drink when water is re-filled as frozen in the field, brush off, quick cuddle (more for me than him tho I suspect he likes it) then into bed, more haylage, little feed and that's it. School is still under about 5 inches of snow so can't do anything else - VERY annoying!
