My 3 year old is currently getting backed and he seems to be quiet (well as quiet as you would expect for 3 year old) and i think he is going to be ideal for me.

The only thing is not sure if i will look to big on him i am 5'71/2 (not heavy) and when i measured him before i went heis bum was just over 14.3hh and his withers were just about 14.2hh. He hasn't filled out yet and don't suppose he will for another couple of years.

His dam is 14.3hh and his sire was 15hh, he does have a full brother and sister who both made 15.2hh.

Do you think he will grow much more in height?
 
I'm guessing from your name that he's a welshie?

If so you'll probably be alright because he'll be quite chucky. He might not grow much more in height but you'll look better the more he fills out.
 
I'm exact same height as you and not a skinny mini. My previous horse was a 15hh sec d mare and i dont think i looked big on her at all. i think you'll be just fine sounds like your chap may get a bit bigger to :)
 
I think he probably will get to 15hh if both his brother and sister are both 15.2hh

If he's only just 3 then he might have a lot of growing to do, the chunkier breeds do mature more slowly :D
