What horse, what season...

So i was just thinking today, is there a particular pattern with selling/buying horses when it come to the season or time of the year? I just thought, september time, would people be more likely to search for big horses to go hunting on or maybe spring time looking for a sj/dressage horses ready for competing in summer or maybe a pc allrounder for their children to take to pony club?
Just wanted to know what you all thought, what sort of horse in which part of the year?

When are u? Lol. I just don't think much at all is shifting at the moment. Selling is a long slow process.

I get where you're coming from but I've seen more hunters being sold at the end of the season rather than the start. It's a tough time to sell regardless of the type of horse you have.

I always find spring/summer is when the adverts for the ponies/horses of riders going to uni start coming out in force.
It also appears that around here most people buy in the spring/start of summer when horse ownership is viewed as easier- of course I got both mine in Autumn!!
