What insurance would I need?

I have started helping someone with doing yard work/duties in return for riding. They mentioned I would need insurance, in case something happened, I have public liability insurance thanks to the bhs gold membership but what other insurance would I need?

Oh, well I didn't realize that. They kept going on about that I would need it if I were to ride their horses.

My insurance policy covers the horse for any rider I believe, and it is good you already have public liability, other than that maybe they mean personal accident cover but a lot of them only cover major accidents like paralysis, loss of limb etc :-/

They are probably just cautious of being sued if you have an accident!
