It has just been suggested to me to have the above op for my 4yr old gelding rather than tildren for a boney lump which will turn in to spavin over time(post in veterinary - to tildren or not), does anyone know what exactly is involved in the op and has anyone had their horse operated on for spavin? i know it means more time off work.
