The title says it all really, when looking at a horse and deciding that you like it what is a 'reasonable offer' that you can make?
I don't want to go to low and insult anyone or thing! Any tips?

It really depends on what the horse is worth and how it is priced. For a £5k horse I would expect perhaps £500-1000 off. For a £1500 horse, perhaps offer £1250? Often there is a clue in the price - £2250 to me says £2k..

Some horses are just to nice to negotiate. If you like them and have the money I wouldn't risk someone else coming! I bought my mare straight away subject to vet as I knew the next people coming would love her too!
