what is a "size 28" saddle? please help

I'm looking for a wide fit 18 inch and have been offered a size 28 ??

What brand? It's a width size, but depending on brand, it will mean different things, for Stubben it's medium/medium narrow

Yes, depends on the brand of Saddle - it's a measurement in cm of gullet width. Just bought an Ideal Jessica Wide - it's stamped 34cm, so wide fit in Ideals is 34cm. Stubbens have different measurements of wide, medium and narrow - if you google "saddle gullet width" and e.g. 30cm, you will find explanations. HTH.
