what is drug therapy?

Ok wondered if anyone can help, i'm looking fro some information on drug therapy in horses for college and cannot find anything on the net about it. I need a basic description of what it is and common drugs used and what used for?
Does anyone know the answers or know a website that has some info?

Drug therapy is simply the treatment of an ailment/illness using drugs ie for an infection the drug therapy used would be anitbiotics, respiratory problems the drug therapy maybe ventapulmin, for pain the drug therapy is bute etc etc
