roll on the thaw!

Mine is in all the time during winter (prevention of mud fever) managed to walk her out in the snow last couple of days, thank god!, usually gets walked out twice a day if i can't ride,

Gets the same at Breakfast and Tea;-
3 slices small bale haylage
1 scoop Hi Fi Lite
1/2 scoop barley
with supplements added
Trickle ball filled with chaff and nuts
Carrots if i have them

All on a token feed of HiFi and Fast Fibre plus hay...all live out naked except tb who is in a mediumweight.

ad lib haylage in hay nets (not small holed haylage ones)

countrywide conditioning nuts
countrywide horse and pony nuts

same feed as usual - just half rations 3x day

plus supplements per individual horse

ETA all living in 24/7 apart from playing in the field while they're mucked out. they choose how long they want to be out - from 10 mins to an hour.

Similar to you - 2 out 24/7 and rising 5yo stabled at night.

The two out are youngsters and both fed 2xday:
1 scoop A&P fast fibre
2 large handfuls Alf Alfa original
Garlic
They pretty much share a bale of hay over 24hour period

5yo (very light work - literally 1 hack a week at the moment; but will be getting fit to event in the Spring):
twice a day
1 scoop A&P Fast Fibre
1 scoop Calm and condition
2/3 large handfuls of Alfa A
Garlic

He has just under a bale of hay per day.

All have lots of water in thier feed to make the pellets into a mulch and this seemt ot keep thier water intake up and have kept condition well.

As much Hay/Hayledge as she can eat. 1x scoop of fast fibre (just moved to it as fed up of speedibeet freezing!) and 1 scoop of Alfa Oil a day at the moment. Her Alfa Oil will be inceased as her work (if her work!) gets increased as she needs it.

19yo broodmare 3/4tb out 24/7 hay, carrrots and Badminton pasture nuts, warm as toast and too well covered.
6yo son 7/8tb local haylage and Good doer.
This cold snap has proved once and for all that horses are overfed, the gelding is full of himself and I will be working him on this as soon as we get the thaw.

We have had snow and have been unable to ride properly for about a month now, so 15.2hh 500kg TB, in at night and turned out during the day, is getting ad-lib hay day and night, plus a 'feed' of a scoop of chaff and a sprinkle of nuts twice a day to keep him happy

my 3yo oldenburg has a big round bale in her field - big rug and shelter (which she doesnt use)

she is having mollichaff extra and coolstance - but as everything is freezing she is having pony nuts instead of a night time x

Same as always in winter - two ponies have handful of happy hoof and TB has scoop of alpha oil and topspec. They have a big bale of hay in field and are out 24/7.

6 year old rugged well! up as I dont want to clip for the 5th time this winter

Out 4/6 hours per day,

Morning :- handfull power and perform soaked, mug of oats, double handfull mollochaff.

Ditto for evening

Large armfull haylage per night

He is 495 kilos which is in range for him according to tables however is prob a 4 on his shoulder and through ribs and bum for condition score - me thinks I need to up his workload - bit tricky just now with weather and he is just back in work after 3 weeks off over christmas.
