What is it about new shavings in stable????

Every Saturday the stables are gutted (after being skipped out all week) and replaced with 2/3 bales of fresh shavings. Harry who is rising 3 loves it. He kicks the door from the outside to get in! Once inside he rolls and rolls and looks like he is covered in snow! What a plonker. Always so worried he is going to get cast, but what can you do?

One of my pony's is like this...her knees buckle before she's even got through the door. Mine you she finds everything exciting. She rolls while feeding aswell, while her head is in the bucket...everytime.lol

Mine does the same. She is so predictable I usually have a bucket ready to catch it
