I keep my 3 mares who are laminitic risks in a paddock the vet says is ideal not much grass, weeds etc one had really bad lami in march this year. These 3 are all native horses one is a shetland. My arab x cob i keep on grass in another field with the cows.
Just had a text from a no it all type saying im gonna kill my new foal if it lives on that. The 3 who are on that are perfect weight not thin or fat ideal. Every vet that comes out always is shocked to see highlands not overweight and each one says i have the perfect set up.
Why do people who owns fine tbs etc feel the need to judge on what i do who have never had to deal with lami or this breed of horse???
