What is the best thing to paint a stable with?

hi, I have just got new stables built and was wondering what everyone else has the inside of their stable painted with? I was wondering about swimming pool paint because its easy to wash or is whitewash still the best? Advice much appreciated thanks

They have been plastered so just need to paint on top of it

industrial floor paint is very hard wearing and easy to clean!

We did ours with masonry paint, I don't remember what brand, but it had antifungal properties which I thought could only be a good thing.

we've just done ours with masonry paint & it seems to be holding up well. didnt water it down to a whitewash tho as we wanted a sharp white finish with black at the bottom. it was about £10 for a 12ltr tub.

When we were in painted stables, we painted with masonry paint - only ever got the cheap stuff - but it lasted plenty well.

Excuse me butting in on the thread, but what is the best to paint wood stables with? They are finished in a sort of chipboard stuff.

I used Lidl masonary paint to paint the interior of our breeze block ones in the American barn summer before last. Used the sealant first so it wouldn't be absorbed and still looking good now. Had not been painted before

Penny , i used Cuprinol 5 years Ducksback on my wooden stables when they were built , its great stuff.
