what would you say is the best breed or mixed breed youve ever owned or come across is
ie temprement,ability,manners etc
just want to find out what you all think
like and dislike ??

i love TB X Natives - TB X NF and TB X Con
they seem to possess incredible jumping ability, pony intelligence and horses athletism.
Also love a TB but they do have a slightly dappy and daft personality which = speed and spooking!

ive just seen a connemara x tb dun for loan but it has to stay at yard otherwise i would have been interested,my sis in law had a conny and a few people i know love them

Welsh x Arab can make a good mix IMO.
I agree with the TB x conn I think they make great horses!

Connemara X TB - best temp + usually very attractive. I had a dun one who was a perfect gent and great all rounder.

Best temprament & manners I've had was a tb x highland. He could jump and would hunt all day - wasn't very brave but if he trusted you he would try anything for you. Tough too - he's 26 now, a bit arthritic but being used as an escort for lead rein.
My current tb x fell is lovely too, but he has attitude!

My IDXTB is excellent. Welsh Cob's tend to be quite sharp, although good jumpers. My new forest ponies that I've owned have all been quite sane, although have a cheeky streak in them.
