I know, I know, how long is a piece of string...

But for example 2 days a week riding plus a weekend day every other weekend? No chores but financial contribution required for his upkeep.

£20/week?

I would say it sounds very fair, but does depend slightly on what you're willing to offer - whether you are happy to allow the sharer freedom to do what they wish with the horse on their days, or whether you want to keep a strict control over his activities.

I used to pay £25 a week for 3 days and I did chores that was 3 years ago though - now have own pony.

I think it depends on what your livery costs and how easy it is to get a sharer in your area.
