So brown horse has what I can only assume is an allergy to something which starts off looking like fly bites and is itchy. Raised lumps in patches. Then it goes flatter and the hair comes away from the top of what was the lumps.
He got the first patch about a month ago and this is looking nearly normal again but he also has a couple of other patches on his shoulder and his neck.
My other horse who is in the field with him isn't suffering and I can't find what it is that he could be allergic to. He is wearing a fly rug now but is there anything I can do to help the patches he has heal?
I'm at a bit of a loss. He isn't suffering at all but they don't look very pretty!
