Yep, the noseband is very similar to a kineton - it basically is a kineton with a different name. It adds that bit more to your brakes.
It puts pressure on the nose, and prevents them from crossing their jaw and running along with a hollow back and their head in the air. The bit is just the one that Laura found worked best for Lusty, after a ridiculously long process of trying out different combinations. He's stoppable, steerable, and doesn't back off from the contact in it.
