What is this Spanish brand?

Purely out of interest, I am curious about the brand on this horse.

The seller says it is Spanish, but it seems unusual to me and I can't remember that other Spanish horses have all had such a prominent brand. Is it a breeder brand?

It's a freezemark and individual studs will have their own different type of freezemark. I don't recognise this one in particular. It says he is passported, so it should then contain his breeding information. He looks more like a Lusitano to me.

Spanish bred PRE will often have a brand from the stud in that position, they sometimes have herd numbers too. You may not have noticed them before as they don't stand out so much on the more common greys.

That brand looks like it was buggered up first go too. The horse may have been sold very cheaply by it's breeder as a result.

I noticed that it looks as though they had a failed attempt and a second go at it, too, tp.
It just seems so, well, large - presumably there is a register of all the brands used somewhere in Spain, then?
