i posted yesterday about the scrapes an scabs that had erupted onto abby's legs in one day. vet couldn't get up today, so i took some pics to show you all cause someone might of seen it before. this is it looking better i disinfected it all put purple spray and sudo cream on it which seemed to of help alot since yesterday. she isn't sore on her legs anynore either

this is on both legs and in some places looks a bit mud feverish some bits it looks like she has been caught in something

(was in the process of gettin sudocream etc off in this one so please excuse the mess)

any ideas???

could she have grazed it on anything, or got it caught anywhere? like sheep netting for example?

well the electric has just been put on round the fence at the pond, which is that tape so i wondered if she has caught it on that but its on both legs??

i thought she might hav grazed it but not sure on what

Looks like Mud fever to me.

could that flare up over a day?? lol you can see that i hav wriiten that that was also one of my suspicions

Best thing you can do until the vet can come out is keep it clean, so hosing and sudocream. Keep a close eye for any heat, soreness or swelling.

Also perhaps do a thorough check of your field, make sure there is nothing that shouldnt be there.

It does look like mud fever, but to have come up over night is unusual, I think?

IMHO looks to me like a type of irritation due to boots or bandages, similar to that of mudfever

Looks a bit fungal? That can come on really quickly.
