What is this??

I caught my horse eating some red berries today from this bush, tbh she's probably always eaten them. Does anyone know what plant/bush this is please.

Well I hope that's what it is then silly horse, she's always nibbled the leaves but never seen her eat the berries until today

It looks like cotoneaster to me. (haven't got ime to check spelling) certainly not Rowan.

Does it have fierce spikes, if so it looks like Pyracantha. Small amounts are ok but it can cause problems if they eat too much.

I dont know if its poisonous or not, its usually found in gardens but some have naturalised in hedgerows,preumaby grown from berries dropped by birds.

it does have small spikes about 1/2cm long, think will move them out of there tomoz

Definitely Pyracantha then as Cotoneaster has no spikes. It doesn’t taste good so doubt she’s eaten enough to do any harm but do keep an eye out for scouring or signs of discomfort.
