What is wrong with people? Foal murdered by sickos

We saw this on the local news here.

Its usually sheep that end up being "sacrificed" by weirdo's/pervo's.

Poor, poor, little foal. This is awful, and marks a progression of horribleness from sheep to horses (not that it isn't horrible when it happens to sheep, coz it is, but this is just too awful to think about).

The local news said that the police are investigating a "satan-worshipping" sect; FFS - personally I couldn't give a b@ggery who or what people "worship", that's up to them, but when they've got to involve animals in their so-called ritual, that's just too horrible for words.

Em. Stooopid question...... but should we wait with baited breath for a statement from the RSPCA on this?? Yeah OK, p'raps not. They wouldn't want to go prosecuting satanists for animal cruelty as that just wouldn't be PC would it.
 
It's clearly not okay (if the account is true, The DM are not a reliable source) but it's also not murder. Murder is the killing of one human by another.

If this poor baby died horribly, that's very upsetting, but I do hate the media speculation and exaggeration which always follows these things.

The RSPCA clearly can't prosecute, not because of any daft "PC" idea, but because no-one knows who did it.
 
Stories of such rituals have been going on for years, I don't think anyone has ever been caught.

However, Yennadon Down is not particularly remote in the grand scheme of Dartmoor, maybe someone somewhere will have information on who committed such an act of horror.
 
I replied on the other thread, I did open the link and see the picture of the poor foal, sicko's the lot of them!
 
Errm, does you not say the police are investigating this? Why in that case would the RSPCA release a statement?
