Hi there,

What is your favorite store to shop your horse equipment? Do you also buy your food and supplements at the same store?

I'm curious about your preferences!

Hi Micks,
I buy my equipment from a few different places.

We have a store over here in Australia called Horseland. It stocks clothing (both competition and casual), rugs, saddles, bridles, bits, reins, helmets, boots (horse and human) and a few other things. They stock Bates, Wintec, Collegiate, Weatherbeeta, Eurostar, Anky, HV Polo, Joules, Kerrits and a few others. I get most of my clothing, saddle pads, bridles, gloves, boots and helmets from them. http://www.horseland.com.au/

Another of my favourite stores is one called Pimp My Pony. The owner is a friend of mine and I have bought my leather halters, bell boots, saddle pads and show jumping boots from her. She stocks Debonair bridles, Premier Equine, Harry's Horse, Kerrits, HKM and a couple of other brands. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pimp-my-Pony-Tack-and-Horse-Care/154593801269774

I also use Dark Selections who stock GPA, Mark Todd, Butet, Pikeur and a heap of others.http://www.darkselections.com.au/

For food and supplements, I use my local stock feeder. I buy pellets, lucerne, chaff and supplements there. For hay I use a local supplier and go and pick it up myself.

I like equestrian clearance (now equestrian.com) for clothing, basic tack bits and pieces etc. They have some great deals and, even to Hong Kong, the shipping has always been reasonable and reliable. Customer service is great too - they have a 365 days return policy, which I recently used for some dog rugs and they were great!

Just to add that I have nothing to do with the company, I've just always had good experiences with them :D :D

Other than that, eBay!!!

I use a good few different ones, I really like horse health, premier equine are pretty much the only rugs I use (barring a few rambo ones) and I buy them directly and I am also rather keen on Hope Valley saddlery as it is brilliant on prices.

Locally there is one called Norvite slightly further North I really like and has a lot of good stuff, also buy feed there.
