HELP!

Obviously, I know my brown and white horse is a skewbald. But i've been having a look and they get more specific than that don't they? Utterly confused by tobiano, lemon skewbald etc etc. What do you think?

Fluffy :)

I would say that he is a red and white tobiano with sabino if you want to get technical.

The sabino shows up in the roan patches by his hip and the jaggedy edges to the red, also in his blaze widening above his eyes and his pink lips, does the white extend to his chin or jaw?

This is a palomino Paint (lemon skewbald if you like :() he is a sabino frame overo, you can see how the sabino affects his white face.

This describes the various patterns according to the APHA:

I would expect to see a palomino and white if someone said they had a lemon skewbald.

Im pretty sure i have a tobiano.

They have the characteristics below-

White legs from the hocks and knees down
White crossing the back between the withers and the dock of the tail
White is arranged in a vertical pattern
Facial markings are similar to those of a traditionally solid-colored horse. i.e. star, snip, strip, or blaze. Extreme white facial markings suggest the presence of additional color pattern genes beyond Tobiano
White patches which are usually rounded or oval in shape, rather than jagged (see Overo)
Dark color extending down the neck, giving the appearance of a shield

And im pretty sure lemon skewbald is just like palamino and white :) :)

Thank you all! He does have some white under his jaw, literally a little line right underneath (that I had to look through about 200 pictures to see, but its there, hidden!!).

Looking at the guidelines I think he's a red tobiano with sabino! Oooh look at the posh names for my pony :)

Now it works. I think. Palomino sabino frame overo, you can see how the sabino affects the markings on his face and jaw.
