Effax - in brown round plastic tib with screw on lid.

It seems to be beeswax based, has gorgeous smell and has worked well on some new tack have had recently without over darkening. For best results leave overnight rather than riding immediately after cleaning.

Urad is best for a shiny finish, but doesn't feed the leather at all.

Stubben hammanol also good but messy.

Ko-Cho line is good. Comes in a tin with a 'popper' type lid (golden syrup has the same sort of tin)

It's a deep red gel/grease, you really need to work it in & leave overnight. DO NOT ride straight away & DO NOT ride in white breeches after applying (if you have applied it properly it should all have soaked in by the next day) as you will end up with red greasy patches on your bum & legs (experience talking here

Works really well & really conditions the leather but you really do need to rub it in.

I've tried most of the leather care creams out there & by far the best is 'Grand Prix' Leather Gloss.

The cream is made in small batches by a lovely woman who has this small company. Many Top riders use it on their tack. I use it after every show, probably twice a week. It is quick, it cleans & feeds the leather & leaves an amazing sheen without any of the stickyness associated with many other brands.

It can be used on any leather, car seats, jackets, boots...fantastic

Use effax yellow tub for "everyday" and use the brown tub once a fortnight ish to keep everything soft and feed it. The yellow tub is great for cleaining/keeping things soft, the brown tub just seems to feed it a bit more
