Thanks to all who have responded. I've finally managed to get a photo of the logo on the saddle and here it is.

Now I'm waiting for you all to tell me what make I have.

Thanks a lot.

Blast! We thought we'd found the answer then. I bought the saddle about 10 years ago (not been used for the past 6 years though). Is that of any help?

Because of...

Don't think Sabre make saddles anymore, only bridlework. They may have changed the badge slightly since ceasing saddle production but I am sure the badge you have shown us is Sabre, as I said it is a LONG time since I have had one in the workshop to work on.

Their new logo has two heads, but if it is an older saddle, then they may have changed their logo. It could well be a sabre after all!

I've had 2 Sabre saddles in the past and they both had plain silver studs with the double horse head logo stamped into the leather on the flaps. Had both saddles over 10 years ago too.

Problem solved - just discovered in very very faint engraving the words Kent Leather. Sure I didn't buy it under this name though from the saddlers. At least now I can go ahead and advertise it. Thank you all for your detective work - much appreciated.
