What model is this Rice trailer?

Having a look at the catalogue for our local agricultural auction and came across this very retro space age Rice trailer listed, tried looking up google to see what model it is out of pure interest but not able to find anything. Would love to see what one looks like in original condition.

I have never seen one of these before, does anyone know the model name? Looks like it would be from the 80s/90s? I like the sink/tack locker but it does look like it's got all the structural integrity of an egg box! Guessing it will probably be snapped up for a conversion project or something similar.

Haha! It is really bizarre, never seen anything like it. I can imagine it was probably thought to be a futuristic model but didn't really catch on.

That's a bit freaky looking. Can't think of the desperate requirement for a sink? It doesn't look very Rice-like. Do you think someone'd made it their self?

I think it's a rice elite. there was a thread on here a while back as someone had their stolen

Oh wow thanks milliepops that looks spot on - wonder if it will be picked up as a rarity at the auction. Though doesn't look as if it's a desirable kind of rare - it is pretty hideous!!

Yep. Rice Elite. I went to see one once. It's built like a tank, and I think would take very large horses.
Soooo heavy. I didn't like it at all. Must have been really expensive in it's day. Wonder why they never sold well
