Hi,

I'm picking up my new horse tomorrow but I can't choose a stable name for her. Which name suits her best? Any input is also welcome, I especially like Greek goddess' names and Welsh ones :)
Her name is Sweet Girl just now, which really suits her but I think it's too long to say for everyday riding if you get what I mean..

How clever of you to buy a horse to match your hair colour.
She is very lovely, so my vote goes to Maia, the beautiful Greek goddess of spring.

ArticFox, yes she is Rex's half sister (same stallion, different mare), JenniferS did a thread before she went to see her :)

JenniferS, glad you decided to go for her! :D She looks lovely and sure you will have lots of fun with her :) If I am ever mad enough to get another I think I know where I will be back to..........! ;)

Is that your boy in your picture? He's lovely! :D What do you plan on doing with him?

I like the name Seren but as she doesn't actually have a star it doesn't make much sense to me. I like the name Cally :)

You've raised a very valid point there.. Maybe I should delete that option (if I can!) ;)
