I think Im feeling a bit sorry for myself today.

Lance has been lame for 6 weeks, despite efforts to find out the cause it remained a mystery, physio 3 times, after sore back which was overcompensation for something, then still no answers to lameness and stumbling.

However he had McTimony on Sat and we got some answers, he has had some work done, riding him tonight for the first time since he went lame to see if its fixed things!

But if its not one its the other.

I had YO, qualified saddle fitter, check Beau's saddle the other night as I thought it was now too narrow for him, anyway she picked up he has a bad back, uneven muscle build up which you cant see unless checking his sadlde fit, and his pelvis is out on one side, hence his reluctance to stand square, and why he has been favouring one side.

I thought since last week something wasnt right, but he is just such an hones horse he never lets you know something is wrong.

So he cant be ridden until he gets the all clear, and is booked in for treatment this friday.

Im just hoping Lance is better tonight, if its not one its the other

Glad you've got some answers re Lance's lameness, I hope he will be sound for you tonight. He can't be broken, he's too handsome ! What is McTimony? Is it like chiropracty?

That is absolutely sod's law about poor Beau being broken as well...fingers crossed his treatment on Friday will help him. Are you getting the chiro out to him as well?

He is getting McTimony too, I was amazed at how good it was for Lance!

They are similar to physio's except they treat head to toe every time, and focus more on muscalur skeletal issues, particularly the spine, pelvis and feet. It is basically manipulation using stretching , massage and adjustments.
