OK knew it was too simple!!
Shoes off 1 month ago. Mare didn't even seem to notice all, had snow/frozen ground soon after and all fine!

Snow melted/rained and field turned to bog. Mare started to feel odd stone end of Jan.
For last month frogs have been soft from standing in water logged field (only out for few hours, then in to clean flax bed to dry feet). Over last week mare has started to feel her front feet and today on the semi frozen ground was decidedly pottery
Pics from last month and tonight - http://s193.photobucket.com/albums/z221/Piebaldsparkle/Feet/ **I think the pink colour on sole in recent pics is residue dye from Hoof buster spray as ran out of Sole paint (rather than bruising)**
Have been riding in the sand school mainly as ground so wet and doing a small amount of road work 4 times per week.
So any ideas?
Back off the road work (only walking max 15mins).
Get hoof boots? Have reshod?
