What Other Forums?

After the closure of New Rider, I've noticed a lot of the members from there migrating to other forums... it just got me thinking... what other forums everyone is joined up to?

I only joined up to NR the other day coincidentally, and then it got closed, so I never got to know anyone on there... However, I am a bit of a forum addict lol... and belong to a fair few others...

TSR (The Show Ring)
Coloured Show Ponies
South East Riders (which I run)

It keeps me sane when work get tedious, lol!

EW was the first forum I joined and it just spiralled out of control from there

I find all of them serve different purposes though and are all completely different and useful for different things.


So what else are you members of?

Technically I'm on EE and I was on New Rider but never posted much on either. HHO feels like a community because you get to know eachother over the posts. I join in because I want to help others that I know or because I value the opinions of people on here because I know about them from reading their posts. Not the same when you're a stranger.

dwi - I thought you were on NR, for some weird reason. Did you ever post pics of your horse?? I feel like i've seen those pictures before, I think that was what made me thing you were on NR too.

I am from NR, though leaving there now (no way am I paying) I also go on here (obviously) and the forum trot on and horse and rider. Both so I can stay in contact with the NR members

HorseyScot- They decided as the board was getting bigger to get anew server, which would cost more so they wanted to charge us £10 per year to be become a member xx

I go on Ex Racers Club Forum. I've been registered on HHO for years but haven't only just recently got the old pecker up enough to start posting on here.

I quite like it here to be honest

BD Members Forum but its sooooooo slow and now it chucks me out after reading about 3 posts so recently given up and turned to HHO. If you think HHO users can be a tad on the sarcastic and cutting side that one is even more so - but I quite like that as long as its mostly tongue in cheek - and I enjoy a good debate
