Just wondering if those of you who have horse in livery could price this up for me please?

one horse, own really nice stable with auto waterer etc in smart private yard. You have to do own mucking out/riding etc 6 days per week but the 7th day is covered for you if reqd. Turnout in good grass as much as wanted (alone or with company). use of rubber topped menage (new) and showjumps whenever wanted. Use of XC jumps spread over two properties with lots of off road tracks, all accessible within 20 mins hack via quiet rural lanes, all feed (inc blue chip etc) and hay paid for, all shavings paid for, use of all weather gallops whenever wanted, someone to do your horse if you are sick/away, inclusion in owner's farrier visits etc (but not paid for), use of large indoor sand school when wanted (20 mins hack away), company to hack with if wanted, free sharing of lorry if going to same outings as owner etc!

Reading that back it sounds so good I might apply myself!

I have no idea what you'd expect to pay for this sort of livery so any suggestions/comparisons welcome!

A BIG THANK YOU!

PM me if you don't want sensitive stuff on here that may upset people in your yard etc!

Ooops, sorry guys. We are in East Sussex, about 20 mins inland from the coast. I've had some great replies - sounds like there are some really lovely livery yards out there (despite the awful posts about bitchiness and bullying etc!) but prices vary hugely - and I had no idea you could charge for bandaging legs...duh!

I think roughly about 60 a week but does depend on what area u r in
if u think about 30 for your stable, 7th day and grazing
10 for hay
10 for feed
10 for shavings

and i think 60 is quite good 4 all that your prob taking about 100 for full livery arent u and that is with them doing your horse for u
hope this helps abit

IF all work was done, would be £150
Say £10 a day for muck out and chores DIY
So must be 80-90 a week

I think about £60 a week. Full livery is around £100 a week so I think charging similarly to how big_bud said would be sensible. Sounds like a lovely place!
