How much do you think is reasonable taking petrol costs on board
For a weeks holiday cover , Ie feeding , turning out , mucking out , bringing in , feeding , etc

I would think at least £10/hour with minimum charge of £15 per day? How long do you think it will take you to do everything? I just think if you pay somebody well then you can expect a good job to be done.

In total I would say about 2 hrs morning
In evening about 30 mins evening
Everything done to high standard so will be getting moneys worth

Depending on how many horses are involved and how far you have to travel. A friend of mine got bounced into doing someone's 2 horses recently, and was paid £50 for 6 days of doing what you describe, and getting there on day one to find the woman had run out of hay, so having to get some more delivered to her. And the woman never even contacted her when she got back to say "I'm back" or thankyou :(

I'd say £10 per hour + travel/diesel money :)

That sounds awful rowreach , I will be making a planned visit to go through daily routine and also to make sure all things are in place if not I wont except the work ,
I was thinking that , so sounds reasonable

Yes I doubt she'll agree to do them again lol :D

Nowadays with the price of fuel it's more important than ever to make sure you are covering your costs as well as earning a proper amount for the work you do.

Well I went away the other week for 4 nights and was charged £22 but I had already made up hay nets & feeds in plastic bags plus we have staff on site anyway so no fuel charges. :) basically for muck out, water, feed, swap nets over, hose legs plus dry & put barrier cream on. T/o and bring in already included in my rent anyway. :) I'm v lucky though to have cover at available when ever I need it and at v reasonable prices.
