Hello :)

I am going to be phoning up an owner regarding a horse I have seen for sale. I haven't done this before and this horse will be my first.

What sort of questions do you ask?

Many thanks

Try not to give anything away about your experience and aims for the horse, let them talk, often you will get important info that way. Don't say "do you think it would be suitable for ..." Because most sellers will say yes even if the answer is no.

Why not post the link? (Or pm if you like).

Have a look on line for horse buying checklists, helps to focus you on what to ask - vices, health experience etc, but as previous poster said let them talk & don't make it too regimented. Leave silences - I found sellers need to fill the silence & keep talking.
