Need new reins any recomendations? Using rubber ones at min which hav broke so time to do a bit of shopping.
Im a huge fan of the nylon core rubber reins. Some people call them jelly reins I think. Lovely they are
Lots of manufacturers do them now, not looked at all but Jeffries are nice.
Mine were made for me though, came with a bridle.
If you decide on the above please buy a recognised make. We had a pair, they felt nice in the hand & didn't have the bulk that normal rubber reins have but they broke whilst competing. You can't see or feel when they are starting to wear out & so have no warning when it will happen. Unfortunately this happened in a jump off & was quite scarey for daughter when it happened. We have gone back to rubber reins now, I think they're Kieffer.
