Hi, I'm not sure if there have been posts on this before, but we are at the stage of ordering a new rubber surface for our school, but dont know what to order!!

Personally, I think SoftTrack will be good, as i have ridden on lots of surfaces with it and it seems lovely. however, a few people have seen an advert for rubber at £50 ton, and want to go with that. however, i am slightly concerned as the man with the cheap rubber reckons that it is 100% wire free and 20ml - i didnt think it was possible to get it 100% wire free? Could he be trying to get rid of it quickly>

Anyway, opinions will be greatly recieved as dont have a lot of experience with rubber surfaces!!

The arena's at hickstead ride fantastically. They have big black lumps of rubber in.

You can only go an examine the rubber and then you would know. I think £50 per ton is quite expensive - seem to remember we were quoted £20 per ton (few years ago).
