abby had a bit of an incident the other day (will explain when i have the energy to right the whole story lol) and her lovely cosy rug is now in about 7 pieces, so i need to get her a new one, baring in mind she is full TB, clipped and i live in scotland, should i get a heavy weight one since we're comin into spring?? or should i just get her a good medium one and when it is cold put her out with a fleece underneath??

and yes she does hav another rug but its not a full neck one and its not that cosy lol!!

help much appreciated

Hmm i would do what you say and get a good medium as you can always layer up! you could even pt your neck-less one under or over if its really cold! The premier equine rugs are fantastic and cosy!!!

my friend has got the 450g from PE and her tb loves it

just checked out there website, the sale seems really gd, and there post an package is well cheap next day delivery for £3.95!! well thats what it says lol.

I find fleeces under turnout rugs rubbish as they really slip back tight around the shoulders and rub on my horse?! Find it better to put his lightweight stable rug under a medium weight turnout.

Not if you use a slimy lined (you know what I mean - satinised) rug bib under the fleece under the rug.
